Fanfic means you have succeeded in creating characters that people are interested in. Nobody gives a shit about your brilliant plot if they aren’t invested in your characters. People invested in your characters enough to write fanfic will stick with you through 10+ seasons of convoluted nonsense.

I have watched closely bc I have been fascinated by the case and the stuff she SAID about them just ugh and now she’s starting a new company. I strongly dislike her and tbh hope she loses her cases so she is never in the position to do this again. She’s been awful for years. Everyone knew.

She did stuff like purposefully pull them away from other groups to isolate them and say horrible things about them so the whole thing is deeply sad. The adults in their lives failed them and hybe is most at fault for putting mhj in charge if minors

Their stuff is way more related to mhj kinda grooming them though, and they actually went through their contracts several times with their parents before signing. I do think that situation falls squarely on their parents and mhj manipulating them and making them think they are nothing w/o her.
