Improved on last year's entry in the Marconi Memorial contest (low power 100W section). 4th in G and 294th worldwide (last year 11th G, 330th worldwide). One fewer QSO this year but, surprisingly, the same number of counties worked.

It might be if there was sound! I've been out all day and we only managed to clear out my late mother's greenhouse so I'm too tired. Clearing the whole house will be a mammoth task.

Previous versions have been a bit 'meh' but the new RADE mode is a lot better. They got a grant from ARDC so have had some full time developers. I'd be up for a sked to try it.

TBH if they want to further amateur radio they should look to use the new version of FreeDV. I've tried it on rx and it is impressive, it even has a 'Find a QSO' type web page, rather than perpetuating legacy modes.

The Ofcom engineer I have been dealing with recently said they use M&P cables.

I use Ultraflex7 for my 40/30m inv-V and Extraflex10 for the 30m run from rig to antenna switch and to feed the 15/12/10m beam. Very pleased I made the switch. Get the M&P scissors as well, they make fitting the M&P plugs a doddle.
