The fact that Deepseek R1 was released three days /before/ Stargate means these guys stood in front of Trump and said they needed half a trillion dollars while they knew R1 was open source and trained for $5M.

What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

I disagree. Everyone should abandon tictok now. Especially with meta ads being a thing. If I use tiktok again it will be by creating a new account on the global version by changing my region.
