Its true that 6.x/7.0 dialogue is dumbed down and reexplains too much (a likely consequence of planned alt start) but if your takeaway from ryne acting more cutesy is "they ruined her char" you just like the minfilia torment nexus more than the actual char

I thought the BGM that played at emet selch's introduction cutscene in post stormblood was his own unique character theme. I also thought he would have a lot more screentime / general plot relevance than he actually did in SHB
