2nd place player was also named Lucas & the 4th place player was named Jason. I know with a lot of the AK regionals I've been the one reporting them. So, since I didn't get as many deck profiles I'll give you guys the hard information that I do have without the lists.

Hey, I only managed to get the first place this time around. I did go back & ask the players for top 4 though. I can tell you this: 1st place - branded dracotail. You already have from me. 2nd place - Yummy Mimighoul 3rd place - VSK9 4th place - Azamina 8th place - 60 card branded. That's all I got.

My reading of the story is Eren used the rumbling to take all these sins upon himself knowing the scouts would stop him; thus, hopefully, giving the islanders a chance at peace and freedom with what remained of humanity.

That's just me though.

Eren isn't a Hero. He is a complicated character to talk about though. Boiling it down to "he was right" or "he was wrong" both kinda miss, Imo.

Technologically, the AoT world was WWI-ish equivalent. Nukes were around the corner. They may have gotten wiped out doing nothing.

This would be an interesting one as it could be a build around type of card & seems like it would be right at home in edison. Gets checked hard by stardust. Could make for an interesting game.

Cimo hasn't played advanced in years. I think we can let a mistake slide. The only content creator, outside of the competitive guys, to still played advanced is MBT iirc. The rest of them checked out & exclusively play Edison.

Sometimes having longer text has a purpose. The text just needs better formatting. Much like the OCG the TCG needs to number the effects. It would make it easier for players to locate effects on cards, figure out conditions from effects, continuous effects & locks from effects, etc.

It also does not solve issues with cards that cannot be normal summoned / set. Like Thunder Dragon Colossus.

If Thunder Dragon Colossus is special summoned by its alternative summoning condition - can it be special summoned back from the GY?

If its properly fusion summoned can it be?

This does not solve anything and a summon lock is a completely different thing in Yugioh. The first line on the monster effect here is considered a summon lock.

So Konami, themselves, realized the importance & strength of Shaddoll Fusion. Granted they made the same card again exactly one year later in REF and overbalanced it to no end.

I was talking with someone recently about Red-Eyes Fusion & why it sucks. I think Konami saw Shaddoll Fusion & its implications then they tried to balance the next batch of fusion spells. You can tell the influence of Shaddoll Fusion on REF, but that they tried to overbalance it. 1/2

Individual cards now are so strong each card has to justify its slot. Playing the garnets for a Kashtira engine, sometimes, just isn't worth it.

Even Kash is arguably starting to get powercrept, to an extent, as strange as that sounds. Without Arise-Heart around the cards don't do enough to justify them over just adding more non-engine.
