More than 170 US citizens have been held by immigration agents ProPublica uncovered that Americans have been kicked, dragged, and detained for days.

The government doesn't track how often immigration agents hold Americans. So @propublica.org created its own count.

After reviewing every case they could find of agents holding citizens against their will, they found more than 170 incidents during the first nine months of Trump’s administration.

A restraining order was issued YESTERDAY by a federal judge barring detention of journalists in this district unless they refuse to reposition themselves and are given adequate time to do so, or there’s probable cause they’ve committed a crime.

When the group reached the front desk, the woman learned she didn’t have a hotel room. Ingrassia then informed her that she would be staying with him, according to five administration officials familiar with the episode. Eventually the woman discovered that Ingrassia had arranged ahead of time to have her hotel room canceled so she would have to stay with him, three of those officials said.

Mayor David Pruhs is a conservative who fought protections for LGBTQ+ residents; he made comments this year drew condemnation this year from Alaska Natives. He lost to Mindy O'Neall.
