Trumpโ€™s Argentina bailout enriches one well-connected US billionaire A $20 billion US rescue package is a gift for a hedge fund manager with ties to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

I've been saying this for years, but Imma say it again: The goal of the U.S. billionaire class is to destroy the U.S. completely so they can profit from selling off its pieces for scrap value

(same private equity model that's been destroying the U.S. from the inside since the 1980s)

To my EDVA colleagues:
You may have heard that Wednesday was my last day after nearly 20 years of serving as a career employee at the Justice Department. This news may have come as a surprise to you, as it did to me when I received a letter stating that I had been terminated immediately, without cause. It appears that my termination was based on little more than a single social media post containing false information.
I am disappointed to leave behind a national security and public safety mission that I truly believed in. I am even more disappointed to see what has happened to this office and the Department of Justice in just a few short months. The decisions to remove experienced career officials from US Attorneys Offices, the FBI, and other critical parts of DOJ undermines our country's ability to counter terrorist organizations, malign nation-state actors, and countless others that seek to harm our nation and its citizens.
I am proud of the work I have done on behalf of the American people. I am humbled to have assisted the victims of crime and their families in ensuring that the criminal justice system provided a measure of closure. I am troubled that I was removed so abruptly in the middle of important work, including the prosecution of Mohammad Sharifullah, the only person to face justice in the United States for the bombing at the Abbey Gate of the Hamid Karzai International Airport. This prosecution was meant to bring justice to the 13 United States service members and scores of civilians killed and injured. While I have the utmost confidence in my co-counsel, my abrupt, apparently thoughtless removal with no period of transition will hurt this case. This example highlights the most troubling aspect of the current operations of the Department of Justice: the leadership is more concerned with punishing the President's perceived enemies than they are with protecting our national security. Justice for Americans killed and injured by our enemies โ€ฆ

Holy hell. DHS just openly stated that its agents use โ€œreasonable suspicionโ€ to make ARRESTS. This is blatantly unconstitutional. The Supreme Court is clear that you need probable cause to arrest someone, as opposed to stop them to ask them a question or two. This is huge b/cโ€ฆ

How The GOP Treats Innocent Mistakes as Fraud To Promote a Noncitizen Voting Panic How The GOP Treats Innocent Mistakes as Fraud To Promote a Noncitizen Voting Panic

When Republican officials broadcast that theyโ€™ve found noncitizens on the rolls, it spurs the kind of headlines that drive fear about noncitizen voting. But when those claims later turn out to be unfounded, thereโ€™s rarely an apology for the lives theyโ€™ve upended.

YouTube video by MSNBC โ€˜F--- them kidsโ€™: ICE agents drag children out of bed, ransack Chicago building

โ€œDozens of federal agents raiding an entire apartment building with kids in it just to see what they can find. Itโ€™s the most egregious abuse of our basic rights as Americans I've seen in a long time, maybe in my lifetime,โ€ says Chris Hayes.

I would agree. I think the 2016 World Series ripped a hole in the space-time continuum and caused this alternate timeline weโ€™re living in. However, they need to win again to reset the timeline back to the way it needs to be.
