honestly i have so many red flags when buying stuff that saves me money
-ai
-insane vram usage, tiny things with 2k textures, things with many 2k textures.
-bad material usage, shiny with no roughness details(what ppl think pbr is)
-baked specular highlights
-no mod unrigged stuff

ill wear like oversized stuff fitted to reborn, ill wear vtech stuff that completely covers everything, ill wear reborn dresses with oversized cups then put a teacups bra underneath

but stuff that terminates around the boobs is off limits

I WILL NOT SETTLE FOR VTECH 😤

Very tit reliant clothes with no teacup option keep my wallet heavy, and my to-do list long.

I understand that. My worry is things like the knurling on the scope adjustment will be completely sub pixel at 1K. This is why ill work in the final resolution a lot of the time.

Or ill switch back and forth to make sure my details still read at the intended res. Completely context dependant tho

I see the 4 2k textures and i respectfully close my mouth.

If you want a texturing tip, id break up the metal edge wear. Something i notice in textures a lot is every edge is worn fully, and to me it makes it very obvious were just using the curvature a lot.
I like to throw noise in, and also to manually mask out where the edges are untouched.

same with artstation. i went looking for gothic alphas, some ornate crosses and stuff. couldnt find shit, cus it just pulled up the same 3 users 5000 items, which all contain a link to every single other item theyve made in the description, poisoning tags to death. no way to filter, so i bought none
