Oh my goodness! I'm beginning to wonder if AI is starting to get a twisted sense of humor. Once, it turned an older pic of me into a Ned Flanders look-alike.
I keep thinking, "This cannot hold together. Can it?" How is this sustained year after year? I suspect it's the lust for power, fueled by greed, though it should eventually collapse.

Proud to be a Minnesotan and glad that many people in other countries understand. We are a split society where too many people become clueless by following cult figures.
I wonder how they would react if their surroundings were polluted - if they found it difficult to breathe or find clean water. But we know which communities will actually suffer. I always thought the EPA should be strengthened, not eroded away. We need to keep speaking out. Thanks for that!

I just had to look up the definition:
Asset; noun
1. A useful or valuable quality, person, or thing; an advantage or resource.
2. A valuable item that is owned.
3. A spy working in his or her own country and controlled by the enemy.
And number 3 is so appropriate.
I agree. There sure seems to be a lot of self-neutering by way of thinking, "How can I turn this into an advantage?" A feckless bunch that can't seem to stand up for justice.

This really explains "the ratchet effect." And come to think of it, I don't remember a Democrat explaining their position. This is, in part, why third parties look better than the usual lot that gets elected, and why I tend to vote third party.

In a normal parallel universe, he never would have risen to that position. In a halfway normal world, he would have been kicked out early on. In this world, I suspect he is being kept in place because he is generating a lot of profit for a few people.

I have this uneasy feeling that polls are being messed with. George W. Bush got as low as 19% and Dick Cheney down to 13%. Or the propaganda is working well enough to bring in the cult-of-personality members.
I still have great respect for Dennis Kucinich. He is spot on with this. I've also been thinking that US & Israel was unleashing Gaza-like tactics on Iran with the bombing of schools and hospitals.
