Thanks. To be honest I didn’t do a great job on the build. Just wanted to get it to the point where I could have a go with the airbrush.

I suspect the ones I have are by a previous designer. Here’s the difference between Britannia and Airfix.

It’s a long time since I saw any Britannia minis. I always think of them as rather cartoonish with oversized heads/helmets. Have things moved on?

Lovely job! Despite several trips I never found that kit at any of my local German discount supermarkets. 🙁

What do we think? I have a fourth Airfix Folland Gnat kit. I’ve already built a Yellowjacks one, a Red Arrows aircraft, and a plane in the colours of an RAF training squadron.

Should I go for the Hot Shots movie scheme or a totally fictional “what if”, say Royal Canadian Air Force colours?

Yep! I have the contract with Tac Publications on file somewhere and I’m pretty sure it’s dated 2000.

Twenty five years after the publication of our book of Blitzkrieg 1940 scenarios for TacWWII, I’ve now got a period appropriate map (actually War Department 1915) and a much better idea of the scope of 3RTR’s clash with 10th Panzer’s rearguard.

Would you recommend it to a beginner? Also what about a compressor?

I can read a bit of 18/19th century military history and immediately see where I could build a SP2 scenario around it. I’d like to get to that point with ancient history and Infamy Infamy. Just need to put the work in I guess.
