I mean aside from this I’d love to see some sort of series about Starfleet’s procurement/design groups at any point. It’d be interesting to see what sort of things they have to go through when they’re designing and ordering starships.

I’m gonna leave you all on the same note as last time: All Star Trek is Star Trek and nothing that anyone says is ever going to change that. This misogynistic prick and his conspiracy theory minded brain can go fuck himself.

Conspiracy theory about why Starfleet Academy got renewed: Yet, somehow, Starfleet Academy was renewed for a second season and will continue. Why? I suspect money laundering. If you have a better explanation, I’d like to hear it.

I’m not going to bore you with a full breakdown of the article, but it’s mostly just conspiracy theories about why the new shows that everyone “clearly hated” kept getting renewed for more seasons. He even speculates that Starfleet Academy is a money laundering scheme for some reason.

He didn’t find replacements, because those replacements would have to be young women. Newsflash: Young women are never going to watch something called Star Trek.”

I have a whole rant about this on the other website, but I’ll keep it brief here; “nutrek” was my introduction to Star Trek, as it was for many people in the community. To say that those shows “aren’t Star Trek” is to say that we aren’t Trekkies because we like the wrong show. It sickens me.

…this is just gatekeeping. If you seriously think that Star Trek isn’t for a subsection of society because “the new stuff’s woke and Star Trek isn’t” you need to get a grip on your priorities in life.
