The Mystic Krewe of Barkus has opted to parade on March 9th, due to the rain inundation we face today. So there are no parades in Orleans or Jefferson Parishes today.

Sorry everyone! Sometimes rainouts happen, and at least all parades have been allowed to reschedule rather than being cancelled.

Got a Haydel's Bakery king cake today. We got the bizarre little "chicken box" for the porcelain collectible and as I cut my first piece found the plastic baby. I combined the two for a photo... I may have to build upon this idea for a full mini kresch for next Xmas.😂

Sprinkles & Tinsel are slated to ride on the Smokey Mary float in this year's 2024 Children's Hospital Holiday Parade!
