How damn cool did this turn out? The colors spoke to me and I knew I had to make a quilted pouch. Instead of fusible fleece, I did matchstick quilting onto some batting I had leftover from a baby quilt I just finished.

6 inch pieced quilt block featuring a black background with gold stars. 3 different gold fabrics make up flying geese, half square triangles, and a square in a square and are arranged to make a Dream Big block.
Group 2 Block 1 of Moda blockheads 5, it’s called Dream Big. The decision on whether to make this one of my 13 big colorful blocks (12 inches) or one of the small black and gold blocks (6 inches) was a struggle, but I think it sings! It was a fiddly monster and some points were lost, but it’s ok!

My newest Cathedral Window pouch featuring one of everyone’s favorite cryptids. I wanted to avoid dark forest green and brown, so I went for neon green, purple, and rainbow. Totally works!! Still making small adjustments to the pattern but I am happy with how it’s going!
