A fungal root endophyte functionally complements host immunity and mitigates natural immune variation in Arabidopsis Beneficial root-associated microbes can enhance plant resilience by complementing aspects of host immunity. The fungal root endophyte Serendipita indica (Si) is known to promote plant growth and confe...

Misregulation of the jasmonate signaling pathway leads to altered plant microbiota interaction and plant stress responses The model plant Arabidopsis thaliana hosts diverse microbial communities collectively known as the microbiota. The plant microbiota is generally taxonomically structured. Some of the members can promo...

Check out our new study! We show that Arabidopsis uses the EDS1-SAG101-NRG1 node to trigger rapid yet contained cell death. Key finding: NRG1C variant regulates this process by competing with functional NRG1s. Amazing collaboration between Jijie Chai and Parker Labs.
