In creating this horrifying narrative about this branch of healthcare, they avoid the people they manipulate questioning it. This leads to them accepting it and not being upset about losing more of their rights, without even realizing it's rights they've lost.

It exists because the content of the misinformation doesn't matter. It's so they can justify cutting subsidies so that another piece of healthcare becomes too expensive to be attainable for people, and thus grant another lever with which to control the masses to the powers that be.

Sadly, that's what we have to work with here. We have a shit choice against an actual fascist choice. Biden's really bad but he's the lesser of two evils here.

Yeah, it means something that causes harm. Good job pointing out something I already know. I've studied software ethics, dude, and Midjourney is unethical because it harms artists with how they train it. If you can't see that, then maybe do a little introspection here and look into software ethics.

It's trained entirely by scraping the entire internet for art and they have an entire artist database for categorizing art they scraped by artist so that people can just take their styles. The art used for training is taken entirely without permission, which is unethical. That's unethical AI.

Midjourney. That is all.

There's this one tool that's coming up and really promising though, called Magma. It's caught my interest since they've got a clear AI Manifesto outlining their ethics and how they're working to make a tool that's for artists, by artists. Really exciting to see amidst the unethical shit, honestly.

Me though?
I just lament that I struggle to even start drawing. I want to do more art but ADHD is a major obstacle to that. I'm not here resorting to unethical AI to bypass effort though, if I'm gonna produce art again, it'll be through my own efforts to just pick up the pen and draw for once.

At most, AI tools should enhance existing skill and creativity, not replace the work entirely, and be ethically trained without art theft. There's a way for it to not be shit, but these are lazy techbros. >.>

At least for now. The grift is already starting to catch up to them and a lot are pulling out on the whole all-AI thing. Midjourney's over there falling apart in a display that's nothing sort of comedic in how disastrous it's been for them lately. No doubt OpenAI will be the same way quite soon.

Well, again, the point isn't how much heat one can take. It's about the stereotyping involved here. I work to avoid stereotypes in my interactions, regardless of who's affected. It's a lot harder to get people coming together when any kind of racial stereotypes are spreading around causing division.

My main point here is, it's harder to fight stereotyping about non-white people if there's also stereotyping being thrown back at white people. Stereotyping is just wrong, period. We'll make a lot more progress on coming together if efforts get made to just avoid stereotyping entirely, about anyone.

I've known people of multiple ethnicities who have that notion. Same as I and many other white people can casually eat ghost pepper chips when in the mood. It's the foods you're exposed to that drive this, not your ethnicity, more driven by your local culture than skin color. I still call bullshit.

Hopefully when 2024 is a repeat of 2020 and Trump once again loses both popular and electoral vote that'll finally end having to hear about him. Though we already know for sure he'll lose popular vote. Republicans never get popular vote.

Too true. I fell to that due to both societal pressures and abuse. Now, I've spent a long time breaking that conditioning to feel more and in doing so, it's actually made me feel more masculine than ever. It ended up teaching me that the macho mentality is not manliness at all, what I feel now is.

Rage in men comes pretty much entirely from social conditioning, which is the whole basis of Toxic Masculinity. I'm not trans, and I do have high T levels even for a man, but I resolved anger issues by just letting myself feel the full range of emotions. It's bottling things up that does it, not T.
