I got a ton of books, and tons of comics/trades, on a bunch of reading stacks.
I agree.
I’ve read, I think, 9 out of the 20 short stories from The Night Shift. “Gray Matter” and “Strawberry Spring” are my favorites.
I haven’t gotten to some of the other popular stories, “The Lawnmower Man,” “Night Surf,” and “Jerusalem's Lot.”
I’m currently, and slowly, going through that series.

I’ve heard great things about this movie. I remembered AMC did a top 100 horror movie list about 15 years ago. This was Number 10, and I remembered Rob Zombie was a little disturbed by this movie.
I’m hoping to carve out some time next week to watch it.

Today is the birthday of writer Bob Haney (March 15, 1926-Nov. 24, 2004). Cocreator of Metamorpho, the Teen Titans, Eclipso, the Super-Sons, & more!
They showed a full five minutes of The Odyssey before that Project Hail Mary screening - specifically the Trojan horse sequence. All I can say is HOLY FUCK. The level of tension those few minutes manage to capture alone is incredible. Was mixed on the initial teaser but this sold me and then some.
