It looks sooo good. RIP for your hands though. I recently did 6 hours of handsewing patterned ears and the design is very simple.

Maybe perhaps a cotton Lycra for breathability and keeping moisture away from the fur. Wish I could help more but I have never made paws.

Not a maker at all but I have a fursuit. My head is lined with Lycra and my paws are unlined.
