You are not alone. It occurs to me a couple times a week.

31 days from spring and a couple feet of snow is gone, it's predicted to be in the 40's for a couple weeks. Nothing to do but get out a springtime bike and enjoy it.

After the week long snow storm, it took a week for the city crews to dig out way out. Even the parks department has gotten the trails in decent condition.

I'm very fortunate to live in a city where the MUP's are maintained year 'round. You can't always go where you want on a bike, but you can always go somewhere.

Passing some coherent restrictions and licensing requirements on e-bikes is really needed. The rest is total hogwash.

Winter came on strong, even the cranes are sheltering in place.

It's cold, and snowy, but there are simple things to help. Studded tires are obvious and toe warmers are nice. I wear them to work, on TOP of my toes, then put them in a zip lock bag, squeeze the air out and seal it. K they're can use for days.

Ok. It's not a tease. Winter is early this year. It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts.

I've been using Flat Attack sealant in my tubes for years. It eliminated all but 3 flats in the past 7 years.

Another Brompton Day in Chicago. I had a ticket for"Much Ado About Nothing" so I didn't let some puny snowstorm get in the way. I was impressed that Chicago handles the snow so well. I really didn't need the snow tires, even the Lake Shore Trail was clear asphalt.
