I do understand who Shedeur Sanders is as a QB, and he put all his positives and negatives on display.

Desperation can acquaint you with strange bedfellows. Pittsburgh needs a new identity on offense, and Aaron Rodgers needs a chance to wash the stink off of his reputation.

Ed is still my GOAT but it would be dishonest not to recognize him as one of the 3 greatest ever tbh

So, about Patrick Mahomes's very bad day. How did Vic Fangio and the Eagles defense essentially erase the greatest QB of this generation? @diantelee.bsky.social on Fangio's immaculate plan:

The “Spags” blitzes have won so many playoff games, it’s become a part of the fabric of NFL History.
Nobody is doing it better than Spags in this era, and I wanted to know how he and this defense keep raising the bar.

OSU’s 2024 defense is gonna be interesting to place in the modern era convo.
Super talented, but won’t join 2021 UGA, 2018 Clemson, 2013 FSU, 2011 Bama, 2008 USC and 2001 Miami.
I think this is as good as it’ll get in the Transfer/NIL era, though. High water mark for sure.

It’s early, but that scoring drive was exactly what I had in mind for Baltimore this postseason. When it’s time to control the pace of a game and take the stress off of Lamar in the pocket, the only answer they had was Lamar as a runner.
Now they have Derrick Henry to hand out body blows, too.
One of the best things that happened this season is that running backs became cool again. And no one is cooler than King Henry.

There are more free rushers than I’m used to seeing from this offense, too. Darnold needs to be better but there are things to clean up on the playsheet too.
