Really? I thought the book was dull and reminded me of old fashioned SF pot-boilers from the 1960s. An alien nicknamed "Rocky" because his carapace looks like a rock? Give me strength. I won't be watching this however big the screen is.

No kings.

A front view of the town wall. Cobbled together from 5mm foamcore. There is a tower in the middle and a wall coming out of each side. A GW plastic Empire handgunner is stood on the tower looking out for unruly orcs (is there any other kind).

A rear view of the town wall section. There is a smaller, but taller tower on the back of the main tower and it will have a tiled roof. The handgunner has come down from the tower as he’s thirsty and wants an ale.

One of the completed town wall sections. Beige in colour, this one has a small tower in the middle as well as a tiled roof. The top of the tower is half timbered and there is a shield motif just below that. Our handgunner has had his ale and is now back on the wall on lookout.

A rear view of the completed town wall section. There is a small extension with a door in it on the side of the tower leading into the wall; it has a red pantiled roof. There is paving at ground level and a crate at the base of the wall. Our handgunner has once again come down from the wall in the hope that there is some food in the crate… I think he will be disappointed…

Hobby half hour time but with it being too hot to paint properly I made a quick start on another section of Oldhammer town wall 😊

I’ve got a few already done (see last photos) and will do a post with them all soon enough.
