Client-side Javascript is pretty much always the reason why everything is slow. It gets worse when ad networks get involved. The features of JS are great, but it's always slow.

I say we bring back simple HTML from the early 2000's!

Looks like I may be going to Re:Invent... As much as I'm trying to avoid travel to the US, I've wanted to go to Re:Invent for many years, and I think I'd be crazy to turn it down.

UPS fucking sucks. I'm fairly confident they lost my new phone and watch, and neither UPS or apple are willing to do anything yet, telling me to "just wait a few more days". It was out for delivery, and now it's vanished with the tracking not updating for 3 days saying "tomorrow".

I think my new phone is lost in the UPS aether... Was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago and the tracking has stopped... UPS doesn't know where it is, and all their agents say "system says delivery today".

It's always best to take any and all steps reasonably possible to protect yourself from litigation. If you are building a platform where content can be publicly uploaded, you should add some kind of detection mechanism. Or, don't let the world upload things...

IANAL, but I believe it's the same idea as the states. You can't be held responsible for other people's actions, and just have to comply with LEO and take down requests. Any companies I've worked for has never had any concerns with it, as long as there's logs associated to it.

From what I gather as a Canadian, we have similar protections, with similar requirements for compliance to take down requests. I find it safer to just not make things the public can sign up for.

Yeah, an eclipse would be better, part of the challenge is making sure I can fit the weights in the space. The lock pulls all the way out, and there's a ring insert at the front for attachment as well.

I was working on something similar, although, my model is meant to be filled with weights! I do feel I need to adjust the shape as round has a lot of open space around the neck. I plan on doing cuffs at some point too...
