The huge turn out for protests—in the millions—should tell you that Democrats are fired up and will vote. Independents too. Insurance premiums & grocery prices are skyrocketing. The country minus the GOP’s base of 30% won’t take any more of this disaster of an admin with no checks & balances.

We will see after the midterms. If they go in our favor, I expect investigations and indictments. Maybe even an impeachment.

This meme is highly inaccurate. They receive the same pension as all federal employees based on a formula. It averages to 1% a year times years served. If someone makes $175,000 for their last 5 years you get $1750 x 5 =$8,750.00. If you served for more years, you would get more with the multiplier.

It’s also calculated based on the highest 5 or so years of service times the number of years served as all federal employees. It’s maybe 1 or 2% for each year.

That’ll just give us another moniker. T=turd. Turd Republican.

The Republicans’ idea of reforming the ACA is to make it less generous to who participate.

The Democrats should focus on making it into a bridge to Medicare for All.

It’s probably considered a boycott. This will hurt performers and the venue, but hey, when people can’t eat and afford healthcare, we all must suffer. In the end, I’m hoping our country and the Kennedy Center will bounce back. In fact, this is my greatest hope right now.
