My mother-in-law purchased the boardgame Yak for my birthday! Had to try it out immediately with @nsullivan.bsky.social . Build a tower of stones with color groupings to gain the most points. Restock from the Yak caravans and Trade with the market for supplies. Quick and light game ! I lost by 1pt

We watched Rodney Smith’s tutorial last night for the board game Monkey Palace! 4 of us competed to earn the most Bananas by placing legos and decos to build a towering palace. Easy to learn, fast paced, and tactile!

Decided to make a trip to the boardgame store Mr. E’s Game World! Worth the 1hr 25 min drive. Picked up 6 new games while there. Such a great collection and I love that they have used boardgames for sale as well! Was able to find an older edition of Santorini @nsullivan.bsky.social wanted.

Decided to play the Boardgame Magic Mountain with @nsullivan.bsky.social last night! Try to get 4/6 students to the wizard before 3/4 witches beat you to him! Follow the Will O the Wisps along the path. Super light game, child friendly, and entertainingly addictive.
