An absolute legend! We were lucky to have her in comics. Her colors left a profound mark on my generation of comic book readers and creators and all the comic book readers who came after us.

Started back at SoNo Comic Book Factory today after working from home for a few months while I dealt with some things.

Today was mostly about getting everything set up again. And dusting. Bunch of dusting. And meeting the new interns from MICA.

The key feature of which (to me, at least) is wild exaggeration/outright lies in the public discourse with no consequence and considerable benefit.

UK politics has always been pretty wild, but it's now been amplified to an absolutely insane pitch.

In part, thanks to us here in the States.

Honest answer: My personal theory is that Murdoch basically imported his personal brand of hyper-partisanship into the US culture which eventually led to Trump, which was an escalation of that mindset, which has now been exported back to the UK and amplified even more.

For what it's worth, I cautiously agree with you, though I'm really worried how DC Comics is going to weather the potential takeover. For entirely selfish reasons, of course, but still.

Before I was a professional comic book creator, I read an interview with @MikeMignola in Comics Scene magazine talking about his brand new series Hellboy, and he said something about filling your comic with the things you love to draw and boy have I taken that to heart recently.
