I do everything in Clip and then export the pages to Photoshop for the final CMYK conversion/print prep.

Several pages of a comic book, inked and ready to be colored. Well, most of them are inked. Still need to finish inking 2 pages.

Working Wednesday: Wrapping up the first chapter of the next Amelia Shadows graphic novel while getting the second book in the graphic novel series I can't talk about yet ready for print.

I would think so, though my main experience is with comic book editors and a few book editors, so I don't want to speak for other industries.

When you're making a comic, your editor isn't your enemy, they're your biggest asset. Treat them right and they will move heaven and earth to help you get across the finish line with your sanity intact.

I've been baffled by all this since Clinton, where you'd see these news clips of members of the two parties palling around interspersed with Republicans calling Democrats an existential threat to the country. Like at some point, maybe stop laughing it up over cocktails together after work.

You're one of the highlights of my feed, Pete! Despite all the blinding sunshine you spout.

(There are of course many MANY reasons why the Democrats are in so much trouble right now despite a historically disliked party in power, but that dislike makes their knee jerk impulse to prostrate themselves on the altar of compromise with them so utterly baffling and destructive.)

I remember being really excited about the version of the show I had formed in my head. And while there was a lot I liked about ENT it was not even close to what I was expecting.

My impression was that there would be more a sense of the danger in what they were doing. Out in space in a ship that could explode randomly. Not sure if something changed in the development or if I was just projecting onto it what I personally thought would be interesting.

My sense was that it was going to be more grounded and ‘grittier’ (before that word became a punchline). The main thing that stuck with me was that things on the ship weren’t going to work all that well. The technology, I mean.

It was very much not what I thought it was going to be based on the brief.
