The members of the People's Forum have now assessed the second round of applications for our People's Fund - giving people the opportunity to apply for funding to support the achievement of life goals and ambitions. This time round, we are proud to announce £12,000 has been approved by the panel!

Featuring over 200 objects, including audio interviews, portraits, artworks and film, the accessible exhibition shares personal achievements while highlighting barriers. Together, these stories offer a powerful picture of disability history in England over the past fifty years.

For the first time, these personal life stories have been recorded by their peers and will be showcased in a touring exhibition before being archived in the British Library. The touring exhibition also features photography and artworks created by people from across United Response’s services.

Our Life Stories documents the life stories of over 80 adults with learning disabilities and autistic people from across the UK.
