Infographic explaining an emergency alert test on Sunday, September 7th at 3pm. Alerts advise on safety during fires or floods. Your phone or tablet may make a loud sound and shake. A text will show on screen to tell you about the alert. In a real emergency there will also be information on TV and radio. Alerts don't cost you money and don't use your phone number or know where you are. More info at gov.uk/alerts.
