I read Jonathan Alter’s biography of Jimmy Carter a few years ago. It was simply amazing how he never stopped going 100% in all that life offered: learning to downhill skill at 62, climbing Kilimanjaro at 64, picking up snorkeling at 90.
RIP.
Politics and party aside, for the US to go from having an avowed Christian, evangelical President, to a President who is a criminal sexual predator and degenerate is simply extraordinary.
