Correct, but this particular range like mine, the DC150 was developed for e bikes, to connect to the ebike battery, so a straight DC connection. One of the great things about this light is, it will accept 5v and only needs 1 amp, so you could easily wire a USB connect and power it off a power bank 💪

The SON light is back on for winter, I have the dynamo version on my other bike, this bike doesn't have a dynamo so I use a 20v Parkside battery with a buck converter, the light will accept 5v to 15v as input voltage, it's an exceptionally good light
