Dont ppl realise hi-viz doesn't 'make its own light'? You can only see it when light is shining on it. The same as you can see me on my bike with your lights shining at me.

Just started using 1, after a series of awful overtakes on local streets whilst my 6yo is on the back.
Pass Pixi has made little difference sadly.The camera doesn't deter them, but when I was knocked off last yr by a taxi driver, police didnt pursue as no camera.
So its there for evidence if needed

Road violence that not only closes the Rd & brings the area to a standstill, but also causes 2 schools to close. The ramifications are huge yet the incidents barely make local news sites.

Luckily it seems no school transport is involved.

Child Maintenance system is toothless.
Childcare unaffordable or simply so oversubscribed that its unavailable.

Yes! & conversely, banning wfh would disproportionately affect women, the disabled & ppl with caring responsibilities who are currently just about able to balance a career with *everything else they've got going on*.

Try proposing that one (1) car parking space is removed for (multiple) bike stands.
Absolute outrage from the same people driving these dangerous monsters, who feel entitled to take up ever increasing amounts of space for their metal box with a three piece suite inside it.

Other ways to keep warm that do not poison children:

* walking
* cycling
* wearing a coat

It really is. Those of us riding EPACs and just getting to work, getting kids around by bike etc are as against these awful things as everyone else. I dont want to be associated with this sort of terrible event or the horrible motorbikes that people are using that cause incidents like this!
