Another update: Balbina got called back for her 4th round of judging and ended up placing 9th. (And she stepped right back into her normal personality when returning home so I think it didn't scar her too much.)

My new year's resolution is to say yes to weird experiences. Next weekend I'm showing my "free kitten" tabby cat in a cat show in the hopes that she will win the winter carnival queen title.
