This is a real but rarely discussed problem in healthcare. Wealthy & connected get better treatment at hospitals whose mission is supposedly to serve the health of all patients. Labelled “VIPs”, they get better care and better outcomes just because of who they are. It is unethical and docs know it.
What are you going to do about it? We are so tired of words. We need action. How is this not obvious at this point?

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.
Never in my most cynical dreams did I imagine so many people willing to sell out their own country for money, attention, clout, out of spite, ignorance or hate.
That will remain the most heartbreaking part of this ordeal.

The article also incorrectly reports about an incident in Chicago a few weeks ago, “the man drove his car at officers and dragged one of them.” That was the ICE account that was proven false by video of the incident. Very poor reporting.
How about LAPD running people over with SUVs, beating and gassing peaceful protesters, and assisting with illegal kidnappings? Those people in custody are there with your blessing.
