We call on local conservatives to drop their opposition to the Rosendale Healthy Route extension. It will enable children to get to school safely and sustainably.

Pleased to report the pedestrian phase on the Rosendale / Thurlow Park junction has been restored following a treacherous morning for families getting to school.
We are so excited the long awaited zebra crossings should finally be built within TFL's bus priority funding for #Croxted Road π¦πΈπΆββοΈ
We hope Croxted will be transformed from one of South London's most dangerous roads, to safe route for those traveling sustainably and our wonderful community πΏ 1/2
Such a shame Road User Pricing us not in here - the one policy that would have increased bus speeds, reduced road danger, and met all your targets on sustainable transport.
Great to see TfLβs five year plan to transform how Londonβs streets operate. Cutting-edge technology will reduce congestion & speed up bus journeys - vital steps towards my goal for 80% of journeys to be made by walking, cycling or public transport.

We can't wait to see the designs for Croxted Rd, West Dulwich.
We have been calling for improvements to this busy transport corridor together with residents and used by so many families on their school run, linking schools, stations and accessing bus stops.
Let's see these plans! π¦πΈ
Appalling levels of road danger persist at this TFL junction of Rosendale Rd and the South Circular - used by hundreds of families on the school run π
Good news - a yellow box and designated cycle phase have been added to updated plans for its imminent changes β
Walking, wheeling and cycling to school gives children more time to chat and play with their friends π€Έ
Combined with fresh air and exercise, this is shown to have massive benefits for physical and mental health π©ββοΈ

Yes, Rosendale Road between Brockwell Park and the South Circular. They are parked next to the bi directional bike lane π
We have choices to make.
Do we invest in our communities and people who live across the country?
Or do we provide tax breaks & subsides to billionaires?
The Green Party will always push the right choice.

A beautiful winter's morning on the Rosendale Cycle Lane π²βοΈπ¬οΈ
We can't wait for it to be extended beyond the South Circular π

And all the way to Brockwell park π³π³π³
Including huge safety improvements at the junction with Thurlow Park Road (aka the south circular)
Safe cycling and new pedestrian crossings for over a mile π
It's happening ππππ
Rainy days always bring more traffic β
This increases road danger and pollution and delays busses π’
We look forward to seeing much anticipated measures for #CroxtedRoad shown here which we hope will encourage people to wear a coat rather than a full metal jacket π§₯/π
Thanks for highlighting this @norwoodforum.bsky.social
We love our school street and want the highest levels of compliancy for the safety of children and the pockets of drivers πΈ
Thank you to everyone who has campaigned so hard, for so many years for this to happen and to politicians, officers and traffic engineers for putting forward a really well thought through design π
We are delighted that phase 3 of the Brockwell Park to Gipsy Hill Healthy Route will be going ahead π
To include;
Zebra Crossings π¦
Bike lane extension π²
Parking controls π

Parklets π
Loading bays π¦
And a yellow box π¨

It is great to have a group so effectively highlighting the actual causes of social & environmental injustice on our streets instead of blaming the very measures which mitigate and protect people from harms
And
π Facilitating cargo bikes travel with more secure parking facilities
We look forward to major progress in 2026, working with schools, parents, residents, staff and local authorities to #solvetheschoolrun
π Supporting school streets which are shown to improve safety and reduce driven school run trips.
π Targeting primary school ages which have higher droving rates with chaperoned services and pick up points closer to the schools
π Increasing walking busses between schools
Private schools in Dulwich acknowledge the issue and are working towards improvements, most notably in improving the foundation school bus service.
But we want them to go further and faster π
This is the consequence of increased congestion, slowing bus times and increasing road danger for the majority who travel sustainably to school. πΈ
