If you think about it, the Dracotail hits actually help Dracomaid by weakening the pure/branded variants. Meanwhile I only need to remove one Ketu >:)

Ok that was a bundle of awkward nerves but it went okay, people were nice.
Went 2-2 against Fire Kings and Mimighoul, and Sky Striker and Lunalight, but honestly just pleased I didn't go 0-4 without the help of a simulator lmao

My decklist for Dracomaids - which would surely be better if it focused more on the dracotail side of things, but I'm here to play dragonmaid and leaving out Kitchen would be too sad.

Going to give the physical game one more shot... and try not to let my social battery explode immediately

This year I want to lock in on rebooting my scrapped project, particularly creating and designing the new cast.
I picked at it last year but it has to be a priority now.

I couldn't always draw a lot this year, but I did try to post something every month at minimum.
It's been a struggle to grow, I'm not good at marketing myself or having the motivation to do more than what I earnestly want to do.
I'm glad these ones did okay at least though.

Worth it though, I think. Last year I had to rush, and it veered pretty off-model & unfinished in places.

Update: After a further 5k gems and wringing out all but a couple of solo modes, Master Duel finally saw fit to bestow one Hospitality alt art on me, as the 30th UR from the set.
That is 6 times the rate. 99.845%. That is something like 1 in 1000 chance of occurring

The things I do for these maids

7 Borreload, 5 House, 5 Sheou, 7 Lady. I had some copies already but I also disassembled some copies early into the hunt, so the actual numbers from opening the packs is reasonably close to these

Yeah ok this isn't funny anymore. 18.6k gems deep for the alt art Hospitality in Master Duel and somehow I still don't have it.
All the daily & event missions, all the solo modes slogged through, no good.
Btw it's limited time available, so if I don't get it in 10 days it's gone for good lmao

Yugioh is too complex a game to enjoy if I can't play my pet deck that I know all the little tricks for... I don't want them to ever be unviable ):

I really liked Labrynth too but never had much success with them, going second was just awful.
Still, they're due some art eventually too though

Lady, while wonderful, really just gives the maids the consistency of a 2022 deck, but the power level has moved on from that.
I *was* able to get pretty deep into diamond rank in Omega, right up until Justice Hunters released & the WL ratio plummeted; I haven't been back to try again.

Also I've been locked in on trying to get better at Blender so not much art lately. Here's Parlor's hair built in Blender. Maybe more maid art soon.

I am 'enjoying' this brief time where dragonmaids are viable in MD before the upcoming power spike, but I'm greedy and want more support.
Some of the other archetypes have gotten crazy support while maids still die to a single ash/imperm, and even their best board (inc/4 negates) dies to droplet

MAID

I imagine so, I just sorta struggle with talking to people and making new friends.
I did have existing friends give it a try, but none were really committed enough for it.

Yeah, been thinking about recruitment too but I don't really know where best to find people, especially for my niche.

But I really don't know how I'd find someone suitable, that I'd mesh with that well.
If I want to make something happen, I might have to tackle it all alone... which is really not ideal.
Would be nice if I were better at the whole socialising and networking thing. Rock and a hard place, y'know.

I wish I had a writing partner. Feels like I can't do anything more with my art/characters cause I'm not good at writing lots.
I want to reboot my scrapped project, but I'm afraid I'll never get anywhere with how much writing it'll take.
If I could just focus on the art, maybe it'd get somewhere.

I sure hope this wave of inspiration and resolve lives beyond the time until I'm done on leagues, and isn't a product of not being able to act on it

My favourite part of having a sleep disorder is how every time I tell someone, they assume I've never tried basic sleep hygiene and must be doing something wrong.

Reached dragon rank in leagues. Not sure how much further I'll go, would like to secure a good hiscore spot but once I get down to just the more tedious tasks I'll probably call it.

Itching to get to work on some creative stuff again, I've had a lot of time to think about what I want to do.
