Unoriginal observation, but I feel like people have genuinely forgotten how to have fun with games. Not everything needs to be groundbreaking or life-changing. Not everything needs to raise the bar.

Just...maybe stop being angry for a day.

I got into video games pretty late and also sucked at it when first starting out lol. Personally I’d recommend playing story/choice focused games and branch out from there (turn based games are a good option). That helped me get started.
But I get it, IT SUCKS 😣
