Oh, I quit them a month ago. I’m mostly regulated off meds. Just frustrated with the system and would prefer to not worry about the next mood swing.

I have methods to cope. Thanks for reaching out though.

I have meds for bipolar/depression but I haven’t been taking them because my psych moved and I haven’t found a new one to refill my prescription. I don’t want to run out and suddenly be losing my mind.
So I’m just out here raw dogging it.

To be fair, I think there’s value in considering how you affect others. It’s important to remember that if you’re questioning yourself, a narcissist wouldn’t have the courage to do that.

You need to talk to people about what they think a relationship looks like before you get into one with them. I have been SHOCKED by what people expected a relationship to look like.

By contrast, I've found the most valuable idea to internalize is that bad things didn't happen to me because I wasn't good, or valuable enough. That what happened to me said more of the people who hurt me. Looking back, blame was unnecessary, and I was often the only person placing it on me.

I know I don't need to say this, but please consider dumping your partner if your needs aren't being met.
It's okay to be needy. People have needs.

Most egregious I've seen was this furry vtuber telling people they should be comfortable if their partners don't talk to them every day, and should in fact be fine with no communication for up to a year.
I needed to write all this to say that it's okay to NEED daily chats. That's very normal.

It's just not something a therapist would ever say. Maybe "The worst person you know is being validated in therapy," but a therapist isn't a judge or critic. They're there to help you foster emotional resiliency, not enact justice.

I watch a good amount of mental health videos and occasionally come across ones made by non-professionals encouraging their viewers to consider themselves as possibly being the bad guy in their lives. Which blows my mind, as it's the WORST thing you could say to a victim of abuse.

Spent the morning on the tutorial, before promptly dying over and over to trash mobs.

I was super tempted to get Quake. I got Baldur's Gate 1 because I'm still on my Dungeon Meshi hype.

This isn't paid advertisement or anything, I just love Good Old Games (gog.com) and CDProjectRed. I want more people to know about them and not just Steam or Humble Bundle.

I can see head shaving becoming popular but more often than not I see people that look great with receding hair feeling like somehow it’s not okay to have a flawless hairline.

The info I was looking for was you download the emulator, you download the game. The emulator has no ui. You use it by dragging and dropping the game directly onto the .exe file. Which is apparently something you can do.

It was a video on how to use a specific type of emulator. Really cool. Good video that I learned from, but it’s still a pet peeve of mine.

And tell people to follow you on Twitch and Patreon, and drop all your social media links, but not directly. You have to pretend by responding to tweets, and using your Twitch clips to spice up the vid.

I have found yet another YouTube tutorial that is 10 minutes long for something I could explain in under 30 seconds.
I get that YT is a job and all, but I wish not every scrap of info and tutorializing was oozing with branding and bloating runtimes to 20 times what's necessary.

I knew someone a few years ago who uploaded a loved one's final messages into an AI chatbot, and I hope wherever they are now, they aren't completely zooted on this crap.
