We are very sorry to hear the sad news that Ken Downie, founding member of The Black Dog, has died. A key figurehead of the UK techno movement for more than three decades and a true legend of the Sheffield music scene, our condolences to his family and friends. RIP Ken.
It’s with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ken Downie on 20/12/25. Rest In Peace brother, you will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Our condolences to Sheena and his family.
