My personal opinion is that it's better not to look who blocks you. Though I think the logic behind blocking on Bluesky is problematic: partly also because it's easy to abuse and hard to reason about where it was abused and where wasn't, most of the time is subjective

Some statistics: ~1300 reports were handled during 4 month of this labeler existing by 1 person (yes, this labeler was supported only by 1 person)

We recommend Bluesky moderation and @skywatch.blue labeler as a replacement for our services

Most of the time your reports are already handled by Bluesky moderation and/or have similar labels. It doesn't seem right to us to centralize moderation around the default moderation, but we can't do anything about this at the moment

We decided to stop this labeling service because it DIY moderation seems no longer relevant due to latest changes to UI of reporting which allows to choose only 1 moderation service per report, existing of good alternatives, and improvements in the default Bluesky moderation

@bsky.app @support.bsky.team why is it impossible to report to multiple moderation services at once now? Reporting simultaniously to @moderation.bsky.app and to our labeler was the ideal workflow for reporting, now users need to report separately (twice)

Most likely Bluesky moderation banned them. We applied multiple labels and made it hidden so that's why you couldn't see it while being subscribed to us. This was on February 7, after your and other users' reports. Also, the person has a previous history of similar violations.

Thanks for explaining! Maybe it's already labeled and the filters applied to hide the content: could you please provide the handle of the account which you wanted to report so I could check it?

You can write your report as a post if it's comfortable to you. Also, what do you mean by "the profile is hidden"? Did they block you? As a workaround for that you can create a new bluesky account and report the profile from there

Could you please explain how you tried to report it? Because we share the same interface with Bluesky moderation, and I don't understand how you reported it to them and couldn't do it to us

Please, please, PLEASE everyone in the art community, when someone replies to you regarding commissions/payments, make sure it's the original artist - look at the handle, make sure it matches perfectly, go to their profile & see if it's really them before committing & sending any payments. (3/4 🧵)

@atproto.com could you please add OAuth or custom login credentials as login/signup option for ozone? Entering creds from a bluesky account looks fishy. E. g. in my case I want to add other users as admins/moderators to this labeler and they would need to enter their bluesky creds to be authorized
