They started to call it Black Friday in Turkey but some religious people took offense to it since Friday is the resting day and it’s called something else now. Funny how things work in some places and not others.

Ooph. Baby caught a virus and spent the last night projectile 🤢 all over my hotel room. Got her back to Istanbul and to the hospital for an IV. Wild ride… but the trip was otherwise fantastic.

7 month baby hair update. We’re in the mostly chill era of owning a baby which is a nice change 😅

My friend told me she has a goal to take her baby to 12 country before she turns 1 and guess what goal I have now 😭 Why am I like this.

It went really well! Going to talk to my husband to see if I can fit this into our schedules - only three hours a week but hard to make a three hour weekly commitment in the baby era.

Trying out a Turkish class taught in Spanish tomorrow - my first Turkish class was taught in German at the Volkshochschule in Berlin. I haven’t used Spanish for a long time so I’m hoping it goes well!

We went to Dishoom for dinner on Saturday!! Would absolutely love to go every day for the rest of my life.

Turns out I dramatically overestimated my ability to do things with a baby 🤣 We only managed to see the friends who were willing to come to us and get about 20 mins walking distance from the apartment.

Found a particularly coffee shop near where we’re staying today - Cafe Magic Bitte. Its one year old and absolutely outstanding coffee 💕

Well we live in Istanbul so I don’t think there is any way the cats of Berlin will compare! But there are a LOT of cute dogs here 🥰
