I think the MPEG card really was the killer app for the CD-i. It certainly made it to where you could do some very impressive things at the time. It’s a real shame. It was so expensive.

I had a great time with the folks at @thisweekinretro.bsky.social talking about why the CD-i version of “The 7th Guest” is the gold standard (assuming you had enough gold to afford a CD-I)!

Not a single member of the Trump administration would make it as a scout.

I guess I can show off my raw footage for rotoscoping so it’s not *too* much of a spoiler.
