This thread is one of the dumbest things Iβve ever seen done by an NFL team, and I grew up a Washington fan in the Dan Snyder era

31.07.2025 22:28 β π 12 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Locked Onβs Indianapolis Colts coverage is about to get even better! Twice a week, join @derekschultz.bsky.social, Allen Pinkett, and fellow LOC host @zachhicks2.bsky.social and me for The Locked On Colts Squad Show!
30.07.2025 17:57 β π 12 π 2 π¬ 2 π 0I usually run a good mix of cover two/cover 3 out of multiple and user the nickel corner. The CPU loves to attack the MOF so I really focus on suffocating those pass lanes. Can usually force a checkdown and then need to come up and tackle
On offense though I slide so much with my QB to save his body
Dude is hellish. I finally found a playbook that I can ride with (Veer and Shoot) but wooof. Luckily Iβm really good at defense and running the ball so Iβve found my rhythm now in year 5

Colts practice observations, Day 5 π§΅
π Best day for the QBs by FAR. Only real incompletions were drops. Anthony Richardson didnβt have a ball hit the ground in 11-on-11 and uncorked a few gorgeous fades
π Drops are still happening. Surprising to see from Pittman and Downs
In staying true to my Midwest culture, I have decided to drive to Baltimore next week instead of fly because itβs only a 9hr drive.
27.07.2025 23:19 β π 22 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0The first book in the Wayfarer series is a really fun sci-fi book. Relatively low stakes throughout but a pretty hopeful read with some interesting world building, culture building, and commentary. Highly recommend it
26.07.2025 18:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Highly recommend Monk and Robot. I think itβs a total of like 350 pages across two books. Not as much social commentary and world building as Wayfarer (still some though) but the introspective look at humanity is wonderful
26.07.2025 15:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Becky Chambers might be a new favorite author. I really enjoyed her Monk and Robot series and Iβm nearly done book one in the Wayfinder series.
She builds societies and cultures so well in her books and I really enjoy her social commentary in fictional stories
Eh I wouldnβt risk it with back to back practices. Especially when itβs this early into the process. Donβt want to add anymore wear and tear to those guys in a meaningless part of the offseason
25.07.2025 16:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Agree with the Colts doing this. 28+ year old players only add more wear and tear in these practices, especially on back to back days. Keep them fresh and let the younger more fresh players butt heads in summer
25.07.2025 15:28 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Completely forgot Jimmy G played in Vegas lol
25.07.2025 01:26 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Left tackle is one position that you donβt mess around with. Just pay him anything he wants
24.07.2025 19:27 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Colts gotta give this exact deal to Bernhard Raimann imo
21.07.2025 22:24 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Colts legend
21.07.2025 22:23 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lmaoooo
21.07.2025 19:26 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They made players more likely to transfer this year. I like the realism of it. I lost most my first year roster but my freshman all-American WR got a dev trait boost to star and stayed. Now Iβm doing everything to keep him by playing him every snap and feeding him (heβs also my only good player)
19.07.2025 13:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Oh also to be even more sicko, I put that up to 30 players can transfer out after the season too lol. I lose so many guys after a losing season lmao
19.07.2025 13:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I used Matt10βs sliders online as a starting point and then adjusted a tad from there. He had wear and tear a bit too high but I think most of the other sliders play out well. Oh and he has holding penalties at like 85 and I dropped it to around 70
19.07.2025 13:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My biggest accomplishment so far has been leading Notre Dame 7-6 at halftime despite getting outgained 288 yards to 45 lol. I lost 29-7 smh
19.07.2025 02:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβll all payoff when I make a bowl game in year 4
19.07.2025 01:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I hold him while my 59 overall freshman QB overthrows mesh routes
19.07.2025 01:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Mostly, yeah. The overall presentation is a big step up and some of the animations are good. OL blocking AI is still a bit messy and recruiting still has some issues, but Iβm enjoying it with my challenges lol
