The Department of Justice is deleting documents from the public release and redacting the names of powerful people while failing to redact survivors' information. It’s clear they are engaged in a massive coverup, and Pam Bondi must answer for it.

Today, I voted to subpoena Pam Bondi to testify in front of the House Oversight Committee – a few Republicans joined Democrats – and now Bondi will have to go on the record about why the full Epstein files have not been released. ⬇️

I’ve been illegally denied entry TWICE at the Tacoma NW ICE Detention Center. I’ll continue showing up to demand that our immigrant neighbors are treated with dignity.

Judge restores lawmakers’ unfettered access to ICE detention facilities It was U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb's third time blocking or limiting DHS's efforts to prevent unannounced lawmaker visits.

A federal court just ordered DHS and ICE to restore our authority as Members of Congress to conduct unannounced oversight visits at detention facilities⬇️

That also means testimony on the record from anyone with information, whether that's Howard Lutnick, Bill Gates, Larry Summers, and yes, even and especially, Donald Trump.

The American people deserve accountability and truth. That means a complete release of the Epstein files, and cooperation — not obstruction — from Pam Bondi. ⬇️

The House must pass the Iran war powers resolution this week (HCRes 38), affirming and preserving our Constitutional power.

The American people don’t want this war. Congress hasn’t authorized this war. Trump promised to be a president who got us out of wars – not into them.

Reminder – Pam Bondi is blatantly violating the Epstein Files Transparency Act and the Oversight Committee’s subpoena by refusing to release all the files. We won’t stop fighting for transparency and justice for all survivors.

One of the bright spots for me in this Congress has been the work we’ve been able to do to protect Tribal sovereignty in the House Natural Resources Committee. It’s our duty to make sure we are righting historic wrongs and upholding our treaty and trust responsibilities with Tribal governments.

House passes bill to end the shutdown and punt on DHS funding, sending it to Trump Trump has said he'll sign the bill to end the brief shutdown. It funds almost all of government while putting DHS on a stopgap after federal agents killed two people in Minneapolis.

I voted NO on this funding deal because DHS doesn’t deserve another dollar of taxpayer money as long as lawless agents – led by Secretary Noem, Steven Miller, Tom Homan, Greg Bovino, and the President – are violating our constitutional rights.
