Midnight Beta on the Battle.net launcher

Looks like the Battle.net Catalog update is out and it appears initial Beta account flaggings are as well.

Yeah, that's the part that concerned me the most. Trying to keep the whole thing as close to cap neutral. Cause I really don't think they want to increase payroll, more so the opposite.

I thought this meant that everyone with a pre-purchase already had their account flagged.

Which is why I asked the question if my account should have the indication.

To clarify, the article says you will have Beta in your drop down so you can pre-download. But I do not have it so I also have not been able to pre-download.

Hence why I'm trying to start this conversation now and not at launch hour when I would rather be playing and you guys will be busy.

Yeah, I did read that and that is why I came here to ask the question if I should already be able to see it on my account.

Because I cannot see an indication of Midnight Beta on my WoW drop down, when this article says I should already.

Question: Am I supposed to already have an indication on my account that I will have Beta access? or is this granted later?

I have both signed up for beta access and I have the epic pre-order.

Honestly, this reminds me a while back when someone asked for the best stretch of albums by anyone ever, and I nominated The Bends through Amnesiac.

Still feel that's hard to beat unless with a band like the Beatles. Hell of a company to keep as your peak.

Yeah, definitely fair to think like that. For most bands though, if they made an album as commercially and critically acclaimed as The Bends, we'd mention their album before that as a potential here.

But definitely in the spirit of the question here to say The Bends.

I considered mentioning it in my post, but I am a Radiohead junkie and The Bends is too good and commercially successful to be Album Before the Album to me. To me The Bends IS an album.

You could potentially talk me into nominating "Pablo Honey" but that one feels too raw and incomplete to me.

Yeah, to me personally the highs are higher on SftD and the album feels more like a back to front cohesive album where the songs form one whole, where Rated R felt more like a collection of good songs without interdependency.

Not sure if that makes sense to anyone else. lol

I'd nominate:
"Rated R" for Queens of the Stone Age
"White Trash, 2 Heebs and a Bean" for NOFX
"Around the Fur" for Deftones

They fit perfectly as amazing albums, with already severe hints of the follow up, band-defining albums and commercial successes.

Radiohead just played their first concert in 7 years, and a whole bunch of people uploaded videos of it, and it has been like finding your favorite toy you lost when you were 3 years old. So much comfort and nostalgia in it.

Even with all the different music I listen to still my favorite. <3
