Thinking that denying inalienable rights as dictated in the Declaration of Independence to others somehow makes anyones' lives better is the gander thinking that what he proscribes for the goose to suffer will not also fall upon himself.
If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.
If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.
