31.10.2025 21:37 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0An early Halloween postcard! I have been using my Grandmother’s Postcard Collection to inform my Family History. This one was mailed in 1908 to Newfoundland from Rosebank NY, USA: To Carrie from Cousin Lily. Finding Lily has sent me down a rabbit hole!!

22.07.2025 12:06 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Makes sense. I’m discovering that. I’m pretty sure someone I am trying to trace most likely changed their name (maybe after being adopted?) plus moved from England to Newfoundland in 1820s. Still hoping to find a thread in a maritime record. So kind of you to reply to me, thanks.
