Like. I am so excited to have different problems. For the first time in over four years, I get to not worry about this one huge cloud over my head & focus on something else. New problems will come, you know, the horrors & what not. But they won’t be this one!
I got some really good news this morning, that I don’t feel comfortable totally going into on here, but it means that a huge source of stress is going to be resolved in the next month or three. Which. Since it’s literally been years that it’s been happening, I’m pretty freaking hype.

I’ve been wearing a Jar of Stars necklace lately & today I was in a dim room & noticed that the star bits were glowing super bright. Like. It was not that dark & they lit up in all their colors. & Idk, something about small joys brightening an otherwise meh day, sometimes very literally.
That dice maker feel when the d6 you just polished is so shiny that you can see the reflection of your cat across the room & you simply cannot stop geeking over that fact.
Suddenly so many ideas for Palia dice kicking around my brain! I’m gonna have to make a few pip sets with my favourites, ‘cause some of these just sound too cool to only live in my head.
Also, I want to be clear, I hold no ill will towards these artists! It just throws into relief my own feelings about not being able to do the things I want to do due to my health & resulting financial situation. Mourning the loss of ability is a constant journey & sometimes it just feels bad man. 🤷
Like. I’m so excited to see it works & see people making things! But also I worry that I’m going to be accused of idea thievery once I get to these designs I’ve been plotting for ages but haven’t been able to afford the supplies for because someone with a much larger following got there before me. 😞
While I know that art repeats itself & there’s no completely original ideas & an individual artist’s take is still valuable…
Do any other folks get that sinking feeling when a bigger artist puts out a piece using an idea you’ve had for the last year but haven’t had the energy/time/money for?

I put in an order this morning for a new mini pottery wheel as mine screeches like a banshee continuously when on (among other unfixable issues). She made it a full three years, which I’m honestly impressed by, considering it was only $30 & started falling apart within months of purchasing it.
