Folksinger Josh White, Jr, son of Depression-era troubadour Josh White, Sr. Smiling, bearded, bald black man with kind, gentle eyes leaning on a guitar on his lap.

The first live music performance I ever attended (at age 8) was to hear this wonderful man, Josh White, Jr. His immense talent, generous heart, optimistic worldview and soulful insight will be deeply missed by so many.
