I've always said you need to factor in your own age in the retro equation, it's not just the age of the device.

I didn't use the official charger with mine when doing the system transfer, in fact I never have used it (it's still in the box). I've been using a 65W charger from Ugreen and it works just fine. Any charger will do if it has sufficient wattage.

Games you own will still show up as virtual game cards even if you don't have them installed, and if you want to play just "insert" and it will redownload. I assume you have a fast connection.

A 1TB express card is going to set you back a pretty penny though, so you might want to rethink that. I say it's better to use internal storage + a smaller express card for the time being then get a big one down the line when they're cheaper.

Right, but you can use the internal storage for now and then expand with an SD Express card when they're more readily available.

I mean you don't really need one immediately. You still have 256 GB internal storage and that should be good for at least 10 games.

I believe they did, they said that depending on how Switch games were made you might still see a performance increase even without Switch 2 updates.

They downplayed it for sure but I think they didn't want people to get mad when not every game runs better out of the box.

The way it works on Steam Deck is pretty good, it automatically records everything for 120 minutes (and you can increase/decrease as needed per game). Then there are hotkeys for markers and there's a small editor for exporting a selected portion.

You should pick up Tetris the Grand Master 4: Absolute Eye on Steam.

Personally I think Tetris the Grand Master 2 PLUS is the best Tetris ever made but TGM4 is up there.
