there's a nice little musical touch in Slay the Spire 2 when you complete a combat encounter where the battle theme does this warbly echo thing before transitioning into the victory music. Really captures the 'oh thank god' feeling you get when you beat someone who's been kicking your arse

I get the impression that its appearance as 'Slay the Spire+' is intentionally misleading and that the differences between the two will become starkly apparent the more I play, but for now it's just immeasurably satisfying to be playing another one of these that knows what its doing
