Returned from my holiday travels to find a large eclectic package from my #VinylSanta. Humminguru gonna be busy over the next few days.

The fundraiser this year brought in £181/ $244/€208 for Acting for others. Thank you to everyone who chipped in. We have never tied the event to a charity before and are very happy to have been able to do something in Vince’s memory.

Per the guidelines a good VS is 3-5 records in good condition. Most everyone from what we have seen managed this, but not all. Next year we will be more stringent about this. If you send one record and it’s not your recipient’s bag then their whole VS is a bust.

We used to cover Australia but numbers dwindled to the point that we had the same 2 participants each year. One of them took on the job of building it back it up a couple of years ago but never made the leap across so we've been happy to leave them to it.

I apologize for the late exclamatory thanks to my #VinylSanta. We have family staying and it’s a been long time since we have seen them. Besides that my wife put the carton in one their rooms since the tree came up later. My Vinyl Santa is a newbie this year, but he is GREAT! Love it!

Over the next few days we will monitor the account to repost any late arrivals. After Sunday the account will go back in the attic till next year when it will be taken down and dusted and reanimated for our 11th anniversary . 2/2

Sorry for late opening my shift was anti vinyl santa hours this year.

Apologies for the delay, but #vinylsanta decided I’d been a good boy and dropped these down the chimney - an album that was a mainstay of every student digs when I was at college, and something I’ve never heard of but look forward to exploring.
