Finally, some Canucks news that is both positive and uncomplicated!
I think the tank is very safe. I have complete faith in this team coming in dead last in the league this year. Hopefully, now that the trade deadline is over, we'll have more entertaining games to watch as we round out the season
Crash and burn will bring in young, talented players. Even beyond the veteran presence and team culture that will greet them, I'm not at all confident that the organization will create an environment in which they thrive. Practice facility, coaching staff, medical personnel, physical trainers...
Yes. I'm deeply concerned about the environment that has been built. I'm not hearing anything that reassures me that the player environment is changing to one in which players can and do thrive
Yeah. His ice time is weird. Raises all kinds of questions
He's looked hurt a few times tonight
I'm going with Rossi today. Maybe he'll look better than he did last game and impress us all
Enthusiastic agreement with this post!
A goal of competing for a playoff spot next year? This concerns me. It is not a remotely accurate assessment of where this team is at
It might be petty, but you could save it to chuck on the ice at his first game back in Vancouver
Have you heard any news about a practice facility? If yes, what's the anticipated timeline for one to be built and fully operational? What's the longest you can reasonably envision it will take to get a dedicated practice facility? What's the shortest reasonable timeline?
Wouldn't miss it for any reason
Wow. Watching the Canadian men's team find a way to win... such a novel and delightful experience for this longtime Canucks fan. Hockey doesn't have to end in heartbreak!

Is management content with how the veterans are performing? If yes, are the poor performances understood by management as lingering grief over QH43, injuries, coaching systems...
Blueger!
Yes. It's also a bad business decision to underfund the players' healthcare. It results in more injuries and, therefore, more likelihood of losing games. Surely, no reasonable business owner wants to pay players to be injured and underperform?
It's a great article, and well worth the read. Like you, it highlights for me how lacking the Canucks organization is at ensuring players can thrive both on and off the ice
I'm going with Blueger today
I love your writing and particularly enjoyed this edition of the Stanchies. You understand and give voice to my version of being a Canuck fan better than anyone else in the media. Thank you!
Wishing your son a speedy and complete recovery and sending big hugs to you and his mom... it's stressful to have your child hurt. I trust that you are all managing this well, with balanced knowledge and care, as you always do
I firmly believe the franchise will be better off under new ownership. That's it. Everything else is window dressing
I'm going with Buium tonight
I hope you have an uncomplicated and full recovery
This is a good (and hopefully timely) article
I'm going with O'Connor
Buium!
Garland!
I'm going with Öhgren today
This is an excellent article. Thank you for using your writing to call for change. We need more of this, from all levels
